Whatcha wondering as you wander?
WHAT'S THE BUZZ?
The very best way to make sure you get the scoop on upcoming classes, retreats and other happenings is to subscribe to the SVYtribe. There is a button at the bottom of every page of this website just for you! It's also easy to unsubscribe through your email with one click, should you wish.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Book classes directly on my site under the tab Book Classes.
*FIRST LOGIN* You will need to create a username and password. Signing in is not mandatory to book, but it allows you to edit/cancel your bookings without having to hunt me down. It will also keep track of your class packages.
1. Select the type of class or retreat you want to book. My regular weekly class is "Backyard Yoga."
2. Click on the date and time.
3. Choose to either pay by the individual class or to buy a package:
To pay $20 for a single class (OR to use a previously purchased old school paper 10 pack), click "Book a Session." From there you can pay online with credit card or PayPal, OR select Pay in Person if you have an existing class card.
NEW! If you're new to Sattva Village or if you have used up your old class card, to buy a new 10 class package, select "purchase a payment plan" at checkout, pay online, and the tech gods will magically keep track of your classes for you... no more signing cards in class. Don't worry, previously purchased 10 pack cards don't expire.
IS THERE SPACE IN THE CLASS FOR ME?
Good question.... You can't book a class if there is no room, so by default, if you're able to book, there's room.
SHOOT... NEED TO CANCEL!
On the booking page is a login button. If you create a member name/password and log in each time you book, you will be able to access a list of any classes you've reserved. As long as you aren't past that 12 hour cut off time, you will be able to cancel hassle-free right there by clicking the trash can icon that pops up when you select your class. You can also choose to change your reservation to another day if you've already paid online. If you have trouble, please to notify me directly to cancel. Text is best, but you can also get me the message here if you don't have my digits. Please do not leave me a voicemail. To avoid being charged, please give me 12 hours notice, as space is limited and I really want everyone who wants to be here to be able to be here.
CAN YOU BUY CLASSES IN BULK?
You betcha! Buy a 10 class package by selecting "Purchase a Payment Plan" after selecting a date/time on the BOOK CLASSES page.
For details on private classes for up to 20 guests, check out PRIVATES.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
YES! Because of the current covid-19 situation, I am requesting that everyone bring their own mat. I'm sorry, but for the wellness of all, I will no longer have loaners on hand. Bringing water or your own thermos for tea is always a good call. If you have your own props, bring them, but I've got plenty of blocks, straps and blankets, if not.
CAN I SIGN UP MY FRIEND?
It's easiest and best for me if you send pals to my website to signup, if possible. Otherwise, you can sign up for the same class time up to 3 times (save 3 spots), but will need to do so one at a time.
WHAT IS THE ADDRESS?
I'll tell you after you book, as my studio is outside a private home. Be on the lookout for a confirmation email from SVY with the details.
HOW DO I GET IN?
The gate should be open. Just pull in and park in the circle drive, being mindful to park considerately and make space for everyone without blocking anyone in (including my hubby). Walk around by the garage and enter through the little green gate where your peaceful oasis awaits. If you haven't ever signed a waiver for a weekly class here, you'll have a waiver waiting for your signature at the door.
I HEARD CLASS IS OUTSIDE...?
You heard right. If it's cold, the fire will be burning and the heaters warming, but wear layers to be on the safe (and warm) side. If it's hot, arrive scantily clad with a big H20. We are under cover for rain or snow (ha). You will love it outside. Birds chirping, chickens bahhhking, cats lounging... the occasional leaf blower to facilitate practicing patience.
