Ever have those days… wake up from a much needed good night of sleep, someone brings you farm fresh eggs in bed, you kiss the kids goodbye as they scurry off to school, then quietly catch up on news and correspondence over a cup of Earl Grey and milk? They are both comforting and calm. I

Just got my MRI results... drumroll... completely ruptured my ACL, and my MCL is mostly torn and hanging on by a thread. Inside the knee joint, I have bone lesions/impaction fractures from the hard impact between the tibia and femur at the knee joint (impact fractures to lateral tibial and medial femural condyles, to be exact, because now I know what those are... yay!). Hemarthrosis in the joint (internal bleeding). Edema. Dr. said it was a 5 star injury, so I’m winning! I

It seems baby giraffes aren't supposed to ski.  I've suspected this all my life, but my friends and family keep saying, "Come on, come ski with us."  Then I found this amazing vintage ski suit, and I knew that I must again ski. Alas, the baby-giraffe-on-skis-like-qualities I physically encompass got the better of me, even in the power suit.  Was just attempting a simple turn in some thick stiff snow and, snap crackle pop, top half of my leg turned without the bottom half.  AC
